I seem to be all right. I don't know how that keeps happening. Me being okay after I hurt myself, I mean. It's like my brainbody understands something and tries to, um, protect itself, maybe. I don't know.
Adam should be home from New York tonight. The other day, he made kugel. I'd never had kugel (despite my mother's family being Russian Jewish, I wasn't exposed to Jewish food in my childhood, except for matzah brie). He used dried cranberries and blueberries instead of raisins. It was tasty but weird.
I made myself coffee to feel better. Ground the beans and everything. Mayorga's Black And Tan, with notes of dark chocolate and citrus.
