All glory to the Hypnotoad...

I've been tired. I've been doing my best to not fall. I've been fighting the pain and anxiety, losing and winning in small ways.
I've calmed down about being suddenly dropped by my insurance (their new policy now excludes pre-existing conditions even for short-term plans, which they had allowed for years). There are a couple of more options for me with my pre-existing conditions. I'll be applying to an Assurant plan and Maryland Health Insurance Plan, and should be with coverage starting in September. I have enough of all my medications to last for at least two months, and if I go with the Assurant plan, I'll definitely save on my prescriptions, which for me is the most important thing. I don't think I qualify for MHIP because I think Adam makes too much money.
Adam assures me that we'll be fine. My mother has offered to help pay for my medical expenses now that we're living only on Adam's salary. I still have no idea when I'll hear back from SSDI.
I'm happy, though. All of this can be remedied. I have options. I have an amazing life. I have amazing friends. I want everything that will make me happy.
Adam has been in New York and Philadelphia all day, and will be in DC for a NASA project tomorrow. He will have over a hundred hours to show for his paycheck next week, which will be great.
We got new a new Comcast cable box on Friday, hooked it up in the entertainment room, and couldn't get a picture. A Comcast technician came today and solved the problem by sending the right signals, which we couldn't do. At least it wasn't a physical problem.
I'm watching more Futurama episodes and sipping spiced rum. I've been craving sugary junk foods all day, so I indulged myself in Hostess mini apple pies and a doughnut. It's been a while since I had that much sugar. Dinner was a grilled cheese sandwich with mozzarella and blue cheese on artisan acai berry bread. I'm so happy that acai berry bread exists. Thank you, Safeway.
