So much for my betta fish...

The male betta killed the red female the other night, and wounded the blue one. Adam rescued both and took them to the downstairs tanks. The red went to the bottom tank as food for the larger ciclids. The blue one was put in the upper tank with the non-aggressive fish, until we can build a nest for the male and he gets less territorial. Sigh.

I feel better. I did some aromatherapy (lemon, grapefruit, bergamot, and vanilla blend). I also shopped on the Barnes&Noble website with a fifty dollar gift card. The new Caitlin R. Kiernan book, "A Murder Of Angels", will be out in September. It's the sequel to "Silk", which, I should mention, is one of my favorite novels of all time. I am extremely pleased. I've been waiting for a sequel for five years.
