Dear allergens: Die. Please.
Aug. 23rd, 2004 10:14 pmGrargh. Allergies. Hate them. So much. When we came home Sunday night, we could barely breathe -- either of us. Adam would've probably sold his soul for one of those sinus spray thingies. My eyes itched so badly I wanted to rip them out of my skull, but then I realized I haven't finished my novel and having to dictate the rest of it would be very irritating. My eyes still itch and burn and are watery. Skin itches, too. No rashes, just itching. Hello, camellia oil. I think I like it better than shea butter. It's the only thing that ever stopped the eczema itching last winter.
Meh. I took some Benadryl. I also took MSM, even though it takes a while for that to build it. I took Biotin. I took Trikatu, which is supposed to kick allergies in the ass very quickly. *pauses, breathes* Yes, yes it does.
Still waiting for Adam to come home. He's in Alexandria, VA, with Dan and Lex, watching an entire computer network have a seizure. I think they're trying to fix it. Ooof. I hope he comes home in time to get some decent sleep.
I am currently watching a documentary on swingers, specifically heterosexual couples meeting up with other hetero couples and singles. *tilts head* Never really thought about it. But it would certainly free some inhibitions. People in this country can be so horribly restrained about sex. I don't mind (at all!) messing around with other women, and it amuses Adam; but I dunno about actually swinging. I kind of like the monogamy. But I can absolutely understand the desire to play.
