Gives me time for the book.
I am eternally grateful, as usual, to Charlotte for being there with me as I write and create. She's a better witch and empath than I'll ever be; she can see what my subconscious doesn't tell me; she knows where I want to take my characters before I think of it. She's become a creative consultant and confidante.
She infused my new pentacle Saturday night (this one). Her grasp of her own power is pretty fascinating. She is honestly the strongest practicing Wiccan I know, and one of the strongest natural witches. Adam infused the pendant with his own special touch the night I brought it home. I told him it felt like a "warm hug and a kiss". He told me it was balance, the power of gray magic, protective magic, and pure love. *sappy grin*
The pentacle is still humming with power from both Charlotte (Wiccan) and Adam (Chaos/Order). The moonstone in the center has taken on a gorgeous moonlit glow in the dark. The pendant has a new sense of power now; it's actually binding itself to me and in turn binding to the energies of the earth and the moon, following the Wiccan inscription along the pendant's border: "I am the beauty of the green earth and the white moon among the stars." I like Wicca's principles, but I'd rather just be... pagan. Freelance. General.
It's cute. I honestly rarely go on this spiritual tangent. I know how uncomfortable it can make people. Spirituality, religious or not, is such a freakishly sensitive subject. But here's my view: If you don't believe in what I believe, that's fine. If I don't believe what you believe, that's fine too. Actually, I have no problem when someone tells me they're "talking to God" or whatever. I think Yahweh is an amusing, if arrogant and bipolar, deity. ;b
I enjoy learning about magic and energy, whatever it's called. I just wish more people simple difference in belief can lead to mass genocides and decades of war.
