Now I'm jealous
Oct. 19th, 2004 11:18 pmAdam just came home. He's humming with energy. A bit too much to drink, yes. His psionic energy skyrockets when that happens. The room is vibrating.
He said that when he left the bar, he touched the poles of three streetlamps in a row, and the bulbs exploded. Dan and Jason were witnesses.
I wish I could make things explode when I touch them.
Wow. My skin is throbbing with elecricity now. My lips tingle and hum from when he kissed me earlier. Sex should be interesting tonight.
Addendum: I forgot to add that he demonstrated by grabbing the base of the lamp on our dresser -- and the bulb got about three shades brighter (but didn't explode). Apparently, those streetlights went nearly supernova before they exploded, so I'm kind of glad ours didn't. Electrical charge. Kinetic force transformed into elecrical energy and all. Sex left me electrically buzzing. The air in the room was almost static.
Adam has that issue with electrically charged energy. He can walk past a television and the screen can go all wacky. His dad used to do it, too.
Addendum again: It's early morning. Our lamp is still stupidly bright.
Nifty!

Date: 2004-10-20 09:00 am (UTC)Next weekend? No idea. I know that Adam is coming back from Chicago probably Friday. Other than that... we'll take it as it comes. Why? Will I possibly see your lovely self?

Date: 2004-10-20 09:27 am (UTC)He can't wear anything electrical. Watches always lose battery power in weeks, if not days. Cell phones lose charge if kept on his person. He goes through computers at work like they are going out of style. He has been known to demagnitize floppy disks (that's a funny story, that his IT department is still telling) The light in his office has been replaced too many times (twice a year I believe).
We was in Safeway the other day... they have these tv screen things are the front registers now. He was walking from one end of the store to the other, and everytime he would walk past one, the picture would go fuzzy, lose signal, then come back as he walked away. People were staring at him as he made them do this one after another as he walked past the registers to get to the other side of the store.
Never seen him blow up lights by touch though.
Some people have a different energy field. So, I know exactly what you are talking about.

Date: 2004-10-20 10:30 am (UTC)I've noticed myself that when I get upset or frustrated or angry at work, the lights here in the library will start flickering (they're flourescent) and buzzing madly until someone comes to fix them. The strip if lighting right behind my computer has been fixed five times in the last two months. Either I have a charge all my own, or Adam has been empathically rubbing off on me. Heh.
Adam is a master computer tech, but for some reason his charge works differently with computers. They will do anything he wants. They can turn on if he touches them just right, and they've been known to "fix themselves" after he's tinkered with them for half an hour. I guess he's in the perfect profession!
