It's Sunday.
I had rum and ginger beer, courtesy of me husband.
Friday night, when Kat was over, I got drunk on Jameson's and Manischevitz. Mmmm. Yes, really. I hardly ever get drunk ever. It was fun. I am a giggly silly drunk.
I made Kat feel better. Her husband is an asshole. He is ignoring her. Yes, he is a Navy sailor stationed in Japan right now, but when she calls him, he won't talk, and he says he doesn't know if he wants a divorce or whatever. She doesn't even know if he is sleeping around. He won't tell her anything. Prick. So, I am making her cheer up. We do girl things. I want her to feel as good as she can before she leaves for Albuquerque.
Adam wants to make me an Irish Sunset one day. Yay. It sounds yummy. I love rum. Except I'd want to include pineapple juice.
I woke up on Saturday tired but fine. I drank water and took hyaluronic acid pills. Hydration. Adam left to go do a job at three. We spent the afternoon before that by ourselves cuddling and watching country music videos and classic rock. I still love The Cure.
Saturday afternoon, Kat came over and we went to Charlotte's. We watched the new Teen Titans episode (I must have a copy) and Inuyasha. And a few bizarre anime cartoons. Adam finally showed up around midnight. Kat went back home. Adam and I fell into bed and slept hard.
Lazy Sunday. Ginger beer and rum. Chocolate covered blueberries. Kat is here; we are watching The Simpsons. Adam has a very early night. He needs to leave for work at six in the morning, so he can be on the Eastern shore of Maryland later. Such is the life of a top field technician in a computer sales and rental company.
'Scuse me. More ginger beer with rum is calling me. And chocolate covered blueberries.
