Last night my husband and I lay in bed, watching television.
Halfway through our show, my husband turned onto his side to me and pulled me in and nuzzled, murmuring those soft kitten sighs that he makes when he wants me. I thought about playing hard to get, and then I realized how full my desire was. I realized how badly I wanted, I wanted.
So I turned my head and pressed my cheek to his collarbone and he nuzzled my hair and kissed my forehead, and I upturned my face and met his lips and we touched tongues. And he took my hand and put it there, on him, through cloth, and he took his hand and put it on me, through cloth, and then there was no cloth, and he pulled me on top of him, and we merged like silk and moved like water, and there were the births of worlds in my head. When it was over and we collapsed inside each other's arms for several minutes, I kept reminding myself to breathe and all I could breathe was Thank you, thank you, thank you thank you thank you; and I lay there basking sweetly, thank you thank you.
There's a beautiful Celtic eternity trinity ring on my (our) wedding ring finger(s) made of electrum (green gold) (amber-colored alloy of gold and silver that was was used in ancient times, also an alloy used in medieval times consisting of copper, nickel and zinc). It is its own power ring, full of magic and dreams and promise. Sex is also represented in its Ouroboros AURYN tangle. Sex, physical and psychic, sex as in the merging of entities, with intent of eventually creating more life but hindered by contraceptive matters.
Sex should not be something that must be whispered about, giggled about; oh gods you said that word, those words; and eww you're my friends, I can't think about my friends fucking, we don't need to hear about it, why are you still talking about it, stop talking, stop
Everyone does it
And besides, I believe my husband is a sex god.
My husband is the god Pan sometimes, we joke.
We say you don't need a priest or church to reach divinity, it is in yourself.
Sex is part of that.
My lover is my storm and my calm before the storm. My harmony and my counterpart. He is my lifemate.
Husband.
Tomorrow is his twenty-ninth birthday.
Happy birthday, my love.
"He moves amid the modern world in disguise
It's possible to look into his immortal eyes
He's like a man you'd meet anyplace
Until you recognize that ancient face
The great god Pan is alive!"
