Pick me a crystal

I need a new pentacle.
So, those who know me... which stone should I choose? Garnet? Amethyst? Rainbow Moonstone? The Garnet has a strong pull, being a writer's stone, but maybe too strong. Moonstone loves me, being a healer's stone, but perhaps it is too gentle. Amethyst soothes me, being a spiritual stone, but I might need more energy.
I am leaning toward Garnet. (See, Scott? Similar minds)
But I would like opinions.

I am partial to Amethyst because it was the first stone necklace I ever recieved, and my beloved grandmother gave it to me.

If I were going to have a stone on my pentacle I would choose Amethyst because A) I think of my pentacle as a symbol of my faith and I would want to have a strong sense of spirituality associated with an object of faith. B) Its my favorite stone ;-)

Garnet would also be a good choice for both its looks and its properties. The combination of protection, luck and creativity is one that is a perfect match for an object you wear daily.

i would say a small garnet and have the moonstone the middle size and the amethyst the largest it would be a good mix for you. i love you and what shoe size do you wear i think i fround a pair of boots that might fit you

The pentacle she's looking at only holds one stone, not three in varied sized...
The pentacles which in and of themselves are varied sizes are in gold, and well over $100...
Or are you looking at pendents on a different site?

But in answer to the actual question...my recommendation for you, actually, would be the amethyst, personally...as much stress as you're still dealing with settling into your new life, the calming balance would be good. *shrug* But go with whatever you feel.

I'm not going to get this right away. This is for later. I lost my old pentacle; this is a replacement. And the tourmaline stone snapped from its wire caging, so I actually carry it around in my wallet's change pocket. It's really tiny!

I think I will go with the amethyst, too. The garnet would be more of a touch stone, really -- that's a lot of energy. And moonstone, I have a ring for that.
Amethyst really calms me down anyway. I need that. You're right.

If you can find a place to get your hands on a firey moonstone, they have a far more active energy. Flashes of gold/orange when the light hits them. Yet they maintain their intuition/creativity enhancintg abilities and tend to love anyone who's also a magnet for the other kinds of moonstone. They're more rare, though (I only have one piece of firey moonstone, and I don't want to know how much my Mother paid for it).
